The Inspiration behind my new collection of work & Save the Date for Opening Reception
Good morning,
Within the fast cadence of the world around us, I've found there are seasons that ask us to pause - to notice the quiet spaces between the tides, the shifting light, and the rhythm of our own becoming. I have created this work -
In between solstices.
In between the crests of waves, vibrant sunsets, and refreshing gusts.
In between moments of pause and growth.
In between thoughts and actions.
In between heartache and joy.
In between exuberant and exhausted.
In between raising boys and raising young men.
In between embraces with my loved ones.
In between laughter with friends.
In between jean sizes and love untethered from the number.
In between creative blocks and intoxicating flow states.
It has been in between all these layers that this collection has been born. It is a time-stamped body of work, created in the moments and places that have called me to pause and translate life into art. I'm really excited to share with you.
